I’ve recently completed my CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing, which has enabled me to build my skills and realise the importance of customer relationships, both internal and external.
One of the areas I look after in my role is organising customer events, which really help to strengthen and build relationships between our customers, and see how important they are to our business. They are also informative, providing updates on product developments and industry updates, and we can also gain feedback from them – on any areas that need addressing, developing, etc. Our partners are always keen to sponsor these events and it gives them the opportunity to exhibit in front of their target audience.
Another area I support is our sales and technical teams, which ranges from projects such as creating a brochure, campaigns to address issues in the market place, and exhibitions and events, to creating every day sales tools for the guys out in the field. A recent project I have been working on is the creation of two new CPD presentations, these can be seen below (click for an enlarged view):
One thing’s for sure, no two days are the same in marketing but we wouldn’t change a thing!
